The Wood Doctor was founded in 1994 by our current CEO, Steve Bowman. One thing remains unchanged – our dedication to doing the best work in Georgia. We keep an old fashioned attitude about work, and that's that it needs to be done when promised. More and more, that means relying on hardworking and knowledgeable craftsmen.

Operations began mid 1994. With knowledgeable help at a premium, Steve trained his sons in this field as youths. Through the years they have constructed homes and other structures for personal use. Today their primary focus is on quality custom cabinets. 

Family run operation

​​What ever the need, it can be done. From furniture repair/construction to bathrooms, kitchens and walk in closets, custom in house design is a standard practice here. 

​Attention is focused on quality in everything we make. Lumber and plywoods​ as well MDF's and Melamines. Each piece is hand crafted to your specifications. Taking the time to do  a quality job is essential in all we do.
